It was Easter Saturday afternoon and while I waited at the counter to order a coffee, the 3 wait staff did an excellent job of ignoring me. I know if you're busy prepping food, making coffees etc, you can't do everything at once but for goodness sake, acknowledge your customers and at least give a cheery "I'll be with you in a minute". Hardly rocket science. After 5 minutes of standing at the counter filling in time reading the menu, sighing and toe tapping, I had to do the "excuse me, could I order a coffee please?"My friend arrived as I was sipping my coffee and looked askance at the toilet seat chairs. After completing one client visit in Claremont I stopped by another in Mosman Park cause if I didn’t and they found out my name would be mud!It was around morning cuppa time so we headed to this establishment where I had been once before. I ordered my skinny cap with carrot cake slice. My client ordered a flat white with almond croissant. After a Sunday lay in my partner and I decided on The Leaky Tap for a late breakfast. I had the Pipes and Plugs at $15, with salmon and avacado added for only $6 extra which was cheap!The meal was well plated and tasted great. My partner had the Tradies fav, a great take on the simple bacon and egg roll. Both meals were reasonably priced for the size. Tobys Estate coffee is The Leaky Tap's coffee provider.Staff were friendly and polite. A pleasent cafe in the suburbs.
I love the fact that this quirky cafe is right around the corner and it serves good coffee. I tried the coconut bread and some of the cakes on the counter which were all quite nice. I have not tried the food yet. It could be a really nice place to go to if only the staff was happier! A smile or a gentle, friendly look would be much appreciated by customers.

Went for brunch on a Saturday, had the pancakes, food and coffee were both excellent. Offers a few gluten free items if that is something you need. It looks like they only serve hot food until 12:30 so that is something to keep in mind, but there are other options in the cabinet. Definitely worth a stop by. The plumbing theme is quite understated.
We've enjoyed The Leaky Tap for lunch before, so popped back in for a quick coffee on our way to grocery shopping. The quirky charm hasn't changed, and the coffee is just as good, with great attention to detail. We had a muffin between us, and that was enough. Very dog friendly, if you want to take your dog for a puppucino treat.
From the happy and warm staff to the wonderful coffee, amazing Brekkie wraps and so much terrific food most of which is made onsite. A great place to meet for a social or quick business meeting with easy parking and a great fit out with a terrific atmosphere!
Yep you heard it correctly - they make coffee for dogs and serve them in special toilet cups. They also use dog milk for these. Hilarious. The owner is friendly and the coffee for people is yummy - get on down and try it out !

This cafe is very basic but has some appeal to dog owners as it is dog friendly. The staff seemed off handed and the coffee and food was unexceptional.
Come here every Saturday for breakfast with my boyfriend. Delicious food and coffee!great service and the staff are lovely. Definatley recommend!
