we've been coming to leifick for many years. it is a special place for us where we stayed after our high time. we have waited 3 years to visit kovid again and were really looking forward to them, it just didn't feel as friendly as before. we booked well in advance and requested a window table, this was not arranged. the person who served us (potentially the wut) seemed completely free, not very warm and chatting made us feel a little disappointed. After we drove all the way out of london, we were sad that this was our first negative experience in over 10 years. the eating was nice and they will never be able to mistake this breathtaking view. hopes for a warm welcome at the next visit!
the service was really poor. No one welcomed us when we arrived, we had to ask. we were in direct suns that were unbearable hot and when we were asked to be moved, they said: "Everybody finds this table hot " no mint for mojito had to call waitress to order more drinks, and then when they are delivered, they call them back to take empty. the drinks were slow. we drank 2 drinks at our 2nd visit! we took our apron to the wrong table. I tied my chips when they put my teller down steak was over boiled when we asked the waitress to book a taxi for us, she said: 'I can't' for £84 for 1 starter, 2 meal and 2 cocktails. I have better service at macdonald 's
Sunday lunch amazing meal in terms of both quality and value. Lovely table overlooking the ocean. Only slight negatives were starter order didn’t get to the kitchen before our mains came out, quickly resolved and with an apology from the staff member involved, and my partners wine choice was sold out. Even with these issues I’m giving 5 stars as the meal itself was of such a high quality
We have always really enjoyed our visits to the Lewinnnick Lodge, always leaving feeling satisfied by the food, sea views and scenery.

once again in the lewinick lodge great eating and drinking with views of the sea and the fistral beach it really won't be much better!
We visit every year when in Newquay. Great views from restaurant. Food is good and you can park for free and stop off for a drink.
First things first - if you don't know Newquay GET A CAB!! You'll never find it otherwise, and that would be a great shame.
