My wife and I had a Mother's Day brunch at The Library. We had reservations at 9 AM and were promptly seated. Our server brought us water after 10 minutes and we also ordered cafe lattes and a glass of bubbly. It took an additional 10 minutes to receive our drinks. It appeared that The Library was short-staffed for the busy Mother's Day brunch crowd. Our breakfast dishes arrived quickly and were delicious. However, my wife's bacon was not cooked to her liking. We were surprised to receive a large portion of home fries, as it was not listed on the menu and we were not given a choice. Our server was attentive and checked on us regularly, which we appreciated.
We loved The Library. We are new to town and did not realize that it was located on the corner of John Hopkins Children's Hospital. What a cool and beautiful location. We opted for the patio because of the live music (which was phenomenal) but the inside was gorgeous. I loved all of the vegetarian options. My hubby had the pork cheek and I had the roasted squash, but the scene stealer was the bread and butter board OMG i will drive 25 mi for this butter. Food was beautifully presented and tasted terrific. It was a tad slow but we enjoyed a beautiful night of music on the patio.
The four of us girls love The Library for lunch. The Blackened Fish tacos were out of this world and I cannot wait to order them again! The ginormous french toast with berries and nutella was so amazing and would be perfect as a shared dessert as well. The flavored iced teas are so refreshing, and there is a flavor for every preference. Our lunch time gatherings are always pleasant, not noisy, and so extremely enjoyable that we just keep returning month after month! See you Soon!!!! Maureen
Servers are consistently professional while at the same time not intrusive. The reservation was for 1pm and we were immediately seated upon arrival. Food is flavorful and always plated nicely.

The experience was good, but it didn't quite live up to the amazing first time we had at the restaurant.
The bread and butter board is excellent. The food is well prepared and the service was excellent.
I’ve been to The Library twice in the last two weeks and enjoyed great food and service.
This place is truly amazing, it was a fantastic spot for breakfast.
