The Limping Fox is a fantastic pub, it’s family friendly with a lovely garden area with climbing frame and slide. There is plenty of outdoors seating which is covered by a gazebo with heaters for the colder months. The interior is cosy with different seating areas to choose from, the toilets are always clean. Most importantly, the food is excellent with some really original ideas and flavour combinations and the menu changes regularly and so there’s always something different to choose from. They are also very knowledgeable on gluten free (gluten free buns for the burgers etc) allergies are marked on the menu, which makes it easy to identify what you can have. A Family friendly pub with a ggreat garden so all the family are welcome including the four-legged ones. The selection of beer is varied and excellent with smaller breweries featuring heavily on the selection. The menu is great and they serve some of the best pub food I have had in a long time. I would like to heavily recommend the Rhubarb Eton Mess desert as it is heavenly. It is now getting so popular that booking a table is almost essential which speaks volumes for the quality of the food, the service and value for money.

Really friendly staff, so I knew it was expensive, before hand but food is always great and worth the treat, but really shocked to see an optional service charge added to our bill, is it optional to bring food from the kitchen to the table?? Has left a bad taste in my mouth, makes for an awkward conversation if you don’t want to pay the optional service charge, if you really think your staff are worth it pay them a decent salary.

I am surprised there aren't more good reviews, it was full when we went for Sunday lunch so maybe locals want to keep it a secret! Excellent sunday lunch, had the porcetta and it was absolutely and generous portions. I was at Petersham Hotel in Richmond the day before and the food here was far better. The staff were really kind and helpful with our two toddlers and two babies in buggies! Will definitely be back. Réservez une table maintenant

This is by far the best beer selection of all the pubs in the local area. On arriving today I saw two favourites, Soundwave and Gamma Ray side by side beer heaven. Their session offerings Easy Livin’ and Neck Oil don’t come much better and Paulaner is a great lager too. Aside from that, the food is very good, definitely recommend the burger, and great people running the pub too. An all round excellent pub.

Perfectly decent enough pub, which I visited with four mates on a week day, early evening. Nice enough inside, with totally fine service. Some of the pints are well priced at around £4.90, whilst others at £6.90 are just in my opinion very over priced. Good covered area at the rear, with some heaters.

Disgusting… waited over an hour for food when wanted to get back for Santa. A load of teenage kids behind the bar serving expensive wine in the wrong glasses and reheated halloumi fries was really not the experience we were envisaging on such a special day!

Lovely local pub. The menu is not overwhelming and the food was cooked to perfection. Various beers Ales available (Whisper is spot on) increadibly helpful and staff who clearly take pride in what they do. We will be back soon. Réservez une table maintenant

Second pub stop off on a Thursday afternoon. Landlord highly pleasant and welcoming. Drinks very enjoyable. Decent venue.
