Our family had dinner here during our vacation to the Carlsbad, CA area and it was just a random restaurant we selected, but we are so glad we found this spot. The food at this restaurant is amazing and so delicious! The service was outstanding and we received all of our menu orders very shortly after making our selection. The portions were so large and we ended up taking enough leftovers to our hotel room that was enough for dinner the next night. The honey walnut shrimp was amazing! I'm consistently impressed by this cafe. I typically visit in the late afternoon when there are usually just two people working, who I believe are the owners. It's undoubtedly the best Asian food in Dana Point, and this isn't my first experience here. The food is always served hot, incredibly fresh, and absolutely delicious. I've never had better shrimp fried rice anywhere else. The ingredients, including the meats, are top-quality. The cafe is very clean, and the service is quick. We enjoyed another wonderful dinner here, and their prices are quite reasonable. Overall, I give them a 5-star rating for their food, service, and atmosphere. Thank you once again!
I have been a fan of this restaurant for years, but I stopped going when I began following a gluten-free diet. Recently, my husband and I decided to give it another shot, and we were pleasantly surprised at how well they accommodated our dietary needs by pairing gluten-free sauces with our meals. Since we visited during a quieter time, we were reminded of how quickly they serve up delicious food. I will always have a fondness for their pumpkin soup. The owner is extremely kind, and we are really glad we decided to revisit and give it another try.
The prices at this restaurant are steep given the quality of the food. The wonton soup was underwhelming; it tasted like it was pre-made and missed the authentic flavors I was expecting. There was just one tiny leaf of baby bok choy in the soup, which felt quite strange. Sadly, I won't be coming back to this location as it has declined. The fried rice was overcooked and didn't have enough egg in it. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a 2 out of 5.

Wow, this experience was truly amazing! This is definitely our new go-to place for Chinese food. We had steamed rice, broccoli, steamed dumplings, chicken zest, and kitchen beef, and everything was delicious—far exceeding my expectations. Our order was ready in just 15 minutes and was neatly packed for takeout. We will definitely return to try the walnut shrimp next time!
During our vacation in Dana Point, we came across this restaurant situated in a shopping center near Ralph's grocery store. The delightful aroma wafting from the parking lot drew us in to explore Little Kitchen. We decided to give it a try and were impressed by the outstanding service and tasty food. We will certainly return on our next trip to Dana Point.
Mushu chicken is my go-to dish at the Little Kitchen Asian Cafe. Everything on the menu is delicious, but I tend to order it spontaneously. It's just a short bike ride away, and I love perusing the menu. You won’t be disappointed! Of course, like everywhere else, the prices have gone up a bit. But it’s still worth it!
I have been visiting this restaurant for the past three years and I have never been disappointed. The honey walnut shrimp is consistently cooked to perfection—never overdone—and is always warm and delicious. I would definitely recommend it, 11 out of 10!
