After hearing that for the second time this year management had changed. You can clearly tell that this pub is running on its last legs, with a deadly silent atmosphere (other than the dated songs from the playing on the jukebox and a hint of Shaggy's It wasn't me My partner and I decided to eat out at Lillibets at what happened to be the worst meal we have ever eaten -ever. We arrived at approximately in the evening for a couple of drinks and a lovely freshly prepared' (I use the term loosely) meal. Yes, the home made chips looked very appealing if only we hadn't received them cold! The rest of the meal was if I couldn't think of a better word POOR. Sour (mouldy) peas, onion rings dripping...

food: bland,chips undercooked.staff: ok, could be more smarter, n more smileyplace nice and clean table wise, but the wall light fittings were full of dust and dead flies/spiders, the paintwork was slap dash, no neat finish just generally unloved.ambience: the fires were lit and the looked very nice, the music needs help, it was like an older persons sing a long meeting.

We've been here a few times now and honestly I cannot say a negative thing about our experiences. From the bar staff and waiters/waitresses to the food and beverages.. I always find it bazaar but pleasantly calm on a Sunday to say how fantastic the food was.. you would expect it to be queuing out the door. Its such a nice pub we will definitely be back again.

all about the liversedge is excellent. we were past a Friday night so we could go to a birthday party cleckheaton. we looked without problems and went into our rooms that were very clean and had everything they needed. we went to the restaurant and had lunch. eating was excellent and the staff is very friendly and efficient. would definitely go back. 1. once here in a few yrs and it was not disappointed, eating was nice, well presented, good amount and was fresh and hot. Although we had to wait something, it was worth it. the employees were polite and friendly, the pub itself was clean, neat and well presented, we will definitely be back in the future.

great food to great praise. the employees are brilliant and feel welcome. clean and intelligent. living in the antidote for 50 plus years and only discovered this year. have been 2 weeks on the night and we were treated with respect. very recommended and will be back in any case

The food is good cheap fare, the staff seem friendly enough, but the accommodation is very very poor. Broken fixtures, mouldy, grimy looking surfaces, big spiders and a general grubbiness. Also a TV but no aerial. If only I could upload the evidential pictures I took.

here as group of 6 in 4 rooms. absolutely good value for money. the rooms are clean and very comfortable. only the question we had was to leave at 10.15, we couldn't find workers wrench in hand and missed breakfast as it had to wait for the more pure one to show up. Réservez une table maintenant

I can't really fault the place. Very friendly staff, reasonably priced well kept Guinness which is always a plus, very quick service for tasty food from the fairly decent menu.... I will definitely return.. well done to all thankyou

Visited with my daughter and enjoyed an excellent two for one lunch in pleasant surroundings. Clean dining area and toilets. Pleasant, helpful staff and good service. Ample parking. Brilliant pigmy goats to see.
