The Lobster House - Réservation de table

This place was suggested to me by a good friend who lives close to The Lobster House. I was looking very forward to having dinner here. After an hour and twenty minute wait we got seated. I know going in how pricey this place is but I wasn't goingto let that stop me. I ordered the cold seafood platter. It came with three large shrimp (which were good), five crab claws,three mussels, and 1/2 of a one pound lobster with shrimp salad on top of the lobster. It was good but not worth what itcost. For my meal I ordered the broiled fisherman's wharf platter which was one shrimp with a little crab imperial stuffed ontop, three small scallops, one clam casino, a piece of flounder and 1/2 of a lobster...

This restaurant has a fantastic location for a Sunday lunch, although parking can be a bit challenging. It would be beneficial to have someone at the entrance to guide customers on the ordering process and indicate where to go. You basically have to wander around to understand what's going on, which isn’t ideal. Additionally, having to find your own table doesn’t give off a fancy vibe. The front takeout area can be somewhat confusing unless you realize you need to take a number and wait to be called. If you’re in town, definitely try the lobster bisque! I'm not sure if it was just an off night, but the restaurant didn't live up to the hype I've heard for years. My friend and I both ordered the Lobster House Specialty entrée. Unfortunately, two of my scallops were gritty, and the dish overall was quite bland. My friend agreed that it was missing flavor; we were both puzzled by the absence of garlic, which the menu had promised. I also took home a piece of cheesecake, but that was disappointing as well. It tasted either stale or overcooked—dry and lacking any creaminess. Overall, I was very let down by the food, and I definitely won’t be returning.

This is a lovely spot to visit on a Sunday, with the outdoor boat bar offering beautiful views of the water and passing yachts. You can even arrive by boat and dock right at the restaurant. The food is tasty, particularly the lobster salad sandwich on a brioche roll and the shrimp salad sandwich. The steamed clams are fantastic, and the stone crab claws are exceptional. The service is always good, as long as it’s not too crowded. I've been here multiple times and will definitely return. Réservez une table maintenant

If you're searching for the perfect venue for your event, your search ends here! My husband and I held our wedding at the Lobster House in October, and it was an amazing experience. Sarah was incredibly helpful and ensured that every detail of our day was flawless. The pricing and flexibility made the planning process incredibly easy. We can't recommend the Lobster House highly enough for any event you need to host. Plus, the food is truly exceptional!

I have been to the lobster house at least 20 times.always at least a 4 star rating but mostly 5 stars.You go to the lobster house for great fresh seafood and that's what you get.Cape may is beautiful .lots of places to rent bikes lots to see.Beautiful beaches a great winery bird watching and sanctuary.Lots of beautiful bed and breakfasts.Unlike north jersey and new york restaurants you don't need to take out a home equity loan to go to a restaurant .

Love this place. I've been coming here since I was a kid, every Summer. The food never fails, always delicious!!! The scallops are SO TENDER! I brought my boyfriend here for the first time and out of all the places we've visited in our 3 weeks here thissummer, this was his favorite.

Not what it used to be. We had to send our drinks back twice because the tonic water dispenser wasn’t working. They did serve new drinks without charge. But this used to be a great place. Now just mediocre. Réservez une table maintenant

Great ambience, out door seating and really great fresh seafood. Outdoor is order and pickup at the window.

The seafood here is incredible, and you can even take some home on ice as you leave town.
