Lori and I visited July 26th and met Jeanette and Katie. Jeanette, our bartender/hostess, filled us in on the timeline of the building process and the personal involvement of the owners, which shows in every detail. She also makes a great whiskey old fashioned. Katie was our most attentive waitress and provided us with courteous service. Our tenderloin dinners were the best we've had! If you want great food in a beautiful setting, make your way to the Log Den, just south of Egg Harbor.
This place is fantastic, with a wonderful atmosphere. The architecture is impressive, and the Sunday morning buffet offered an incredible variety of delicious options! The owners even took the time to stop by our table to make sure we were having a great time and to chat with our little one. I will definitely be returning with my family!

The restaurant has a lovely ambiance, but unfortunately, the food isn't impressive. If you decide to visit, I'd recommend sticking with the soup and salad. They were the only items that received any praise from our party of 12.

My wife had the Perch, I had broasted chicken. The food was good, especially the seafood chowder. The servers were very attentive even with the staffing shortage.
