We attended the special Hobbit tea on September 23 and it was excellent! As always, the food was phenomenal--Pippin's goat cheese baskets and the lembas bread were personal favorites, I was also happy to see their sausage rolls on the menu. The selected teas for the day paired beautifully with the food selections. The savories, especially the goat cheese baskets, went beautifully with Gandalf's smoky tea whilst the sweets paired nicely with Frodo's berry tea. The atmosphere was delightful--each table was named after a different location in the Legendarium and there were trivia cards on each table, Hobbit name generators, and various themed adornments around the room. The servers were dressed...

I had enjoyed the tea room once before, but it was pre-COVID and the tables were unlikely close, even then. I was so glad to see that there was room for social distancing - and for a Sunday they were pretty slow for which I was grateful. I had a ricotta and spinach croissant and a chai masala. The milk steamer was broken, apparently, but I only had a pot of Chai and some cream on the side - no damage done. I love the interior of the tea room, with all its gifts and teas and snacks and decor. The other guests also seemed to be happy. I sat on the far side of the room where I could charge my phone at a socket under my table. I liked that they have a large container of ice water for everyone to...

The London Tea Room has a lovely ambiance. We were in the upstairs space with pretty chandeliers. One person at our table had requested gluten free items. When the waitstaff brought our tea trays to the table, they noticed tha request. They took our trays away! It was another 10 minutes before they returned with identical) trays and a single plate of gluten free items. We were starving. They didn't bring enough tea for everyone at the table. Then, they brought out mango tea yellow and warm). None of us cared for it, so we asked for more of the breakfast tea. They brought more mango tea. : The food was fine, but not stellar. The cucumber sandwich was the best. The scones were beautiful but dr...

My friend and I go here ALL the time for afternoon tea and we love it! Never disappoints us and the tea selection always rotates so we are able to try new teas every time we go! I recommend booking at least a month in advance because they have limited afternoon tea spots available, but if you aren?t able to book an afternoon tea, they also have a cafe which serves British staples (and where you can get pots of tea to enjoy as well). After we have our tea, we always make it over to the tea retail area and buy our favorites to last us until next time we come! So all in all, a great place to come, relax, and drink tea and have brunch! Réservez une table maintenant

We went for a friend's birthday, and it was quite nice. The tea spread was fantastic, everything tasted good, and the price was fairly reasonable for what you get. The space is very cool as well, and while I didn't care for the high ceilings, as that made the whole place echo quite a lot, the décor was nice and the room itself was beautiful. I haven't seen any of the upstairs rooms, but I hear they're cool as well. We've been getting tea from them for years, but it was my first time at the new location and I have to say that I enjoyed it. We will be returning.

This is a quaint and relaxing venue with very friendly wait staff. The linens are crisp and white, the tea is nice and hot and the scones are fabulous. You can pop in for a tea and fresh scone or you can reserve a full tea service online. I elected for the tea service and I was not disappointed. You get to try two different teas, so two pots! You also can take your left overs to go, including a cup of tea. I highly recommend this tea room. It's lovely and a great place to enjoy some tea and just relax!

Excellent new venue. Service, atmosphere and food are outstanding. Love the selection of teas...always hit the retail store. Frequent flyer and never disappointed! Food choices for the various teas are on point, with excellent service and lots of information provided, to those who are interested. I love the retail shop and always leave with packages of tea (some new to try, some old friends). A St. Louis treasure.

Not worth it. Person at Hostess stand was not friendly and couldn't be bothered by us interrupting what she was doing on her (personal)phone with earbuds in. She walked away from us and got someone else to seat us. Réservez une table maintenant

Is there a better tea room in the world? No. The London Tea Room is the tops, the best, it's brilliant and delicious. It's how a tea room should be. Thanks London Tea Room for providing an oasis in a chaotic world!
