From the very first time we visited Herrn Nelson, we found the staff to be welcoming and friendly, and the food was excellent. When we decided to use the pub for our wedding reception, the team went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect—and it truly was! They even highlighted my family's favorite dishes on the menu and provided a full-service hot roast in the evening. We wouldn’t change a thing. I want to express my gratitude to the management and staff for making the best day of my life run so smoothly! I cannot recommend this pub enough for both everyday dining and special occasions.

"I recently visited The Man Nelson and was thoroughly impressed. The pub food was some of the best I've had in a long time. The mixed fish dish was not only delicious but also generous in portion size. The dessert was a delightful surprise—unique and cooked to perfection. On top of that, the service was cheerful, friendly, and timely. I honestly can't find a single fault with my experience!"

Thank you so much for hosting our wedding day. The efforts from the whole team were incredible. You managed to turn the pub into a magical place that we will never forget. People have not stopped talking about the food and how delicious it was. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff service with a smile all day/night. We will be back for the duck race

I had a wonderful dinner here tonight. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food was outstanding. The menu offered delicious options with generous portions and beautiful presentation. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. We can't wait to return and would definitely recommend a visit! Just eaten here. Service was good and food was yummy. We had a pie, a burger and a steak. All served with tasty chips. Well done will definitely be coming back
