Visité pour un anniversaire, après avoir séjourné il y a des années et nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Quelle différence yrs fait ...! Le panneau publicitaire «chef voulait» aurait dû être un avertissement. Si seulement nous étions prévenus à l'avance. Aucun choix donné sur la façon de cuire mon œuf, il est venu frit. Pommes de terre servies entières, non sautées. PAS DE GRAINS CUITS! On a demandé au chef où étaient allés les haricots, pour se faire dire qu'ils n'en avaient pas. Bacon sec comme du carton, tomates désintégrées sur une assiette. La bouillie de mon enfant d'un mois était froide, l'œuf brouillé de ma femme était frais et aqueux. Café en poudre Nescafé servi dans une tasse. Pas de pot de café filtre comme avant. Très médiocre pour le prix ... En partant, on ne m'a pas demandé si j'ai apprécié mon séjour. Triste de dire que nous ne serons plus pressés de revenir. Qu'est-ce qui ne va pas ...
Visited as a birthday treat, having stayed yrs ago and very much enjoyed it. What a difference yrs makes....!The sign advertising chef wanted' should have been a warning. If only we'd be warned beforehand.Ordered full english. No choice given of how to cook my egg, it came fried. Potatoes served whole, not sautéed. NO BAKED BEANS! Asked chef where the beans had gone, to be told they didn't have any. Bacon dry like cardboard, tomatoes disintegrated onto plate. My month old's porridge was cold, my wife's scrambled egg was cool and watery. Coffee from Nescafé powder served in a mug. No pot of filter coffee like before. Very poor for price tag... Upon leaving, wasn't asked if enjoyed my stay. Saddened to say we won't be hurrying back again. What's gone wrong...?
we sung here at a few places, but came for my father in 60th birthday celebrations on Sunday. eating was divine as always, never really go for a frying dinner as they never know, but that was the best beef dinner I had in very long time, mushroom starter was incredibly aa was the banana trifle, I don't make 3 courses, but I would have missed myself like I had not had pudding too! the service was error-free and even if it was extremely busy, the waiting and bar staff still smiled with our desire for birthday cakes (with the hardest to light sparkles of all time,) milk for the baby who had already looked at her, sauces and everything else. many thanks to lowfield inn for another special opportunity beautiful! never do anything different x

I asked the chef where they had gone to bons to say they had none. bacon dry like carton, tomatoes fall on top. my month old booze was cold, the broken egg of my wife was cool and watery. coffee made of nescafé powder served in a cup. no pot of filter coffee as before. very bad for price tag. After leaving was not asked if I liked it. sad to say that we don't hurry again. What's wrong?
