Don?t swipe on quite orecchi-yet! ? *Proper pronunciation of the pictured pasta to pick up on the pun: oh-reck-ee-ET-tay*? Primavera Orecchiette, Chicken Pesto Pappardelle, Baja Bowl, and the Breakfast Bowl from The Lowry in Uptown ?? We came for some elevated foods and a semi-formal dining experience. The Lowry no doubt delivered; this place is modern on the inside, and makes you feel fancy without breaking the bank, as their enormous menu is very fairly priced. I had the Orecchiette. It was a well balanced plate with a creamy yet light tomato mornay sauce, just the right vegetable to past...
Solid American fare. A bit on the pricey side but I ordered delivery (which came surprisingly fast) and wasn?t disappointed with what I got. The chicken tenders were juicy, a bit heavy on the salt, but otherwise well prepared. The Peter?s burger is essentially a patty melt with a fried egg and the flavor was good. I was happy to see the broccolini that it came with was of high quality and found it complemented the burger well. Overall my order was a good first impression of The Lowry which I don?t hesitate to recommend. Nothing crazy in terms of wow factor but pretty good; I hope to try more of their menu someday.
The Lowery is great! You can dress up and have a fancy date night, or you can do what I did this morning and come straight from the gym in sweats and not feel out of place. Food is solid, service is solid, prices are just a tad on the higher side (think around $20 a person w/o drinks). Great list of beers on tap, solid cocktails, and oysters if that's your thing! Don't need a reservation if you don't mind sometimes waiting 15-20 minutes. You can always belly up at the bar too, there usually seems to be space for one or two more!
Visited for Saturday brunch 4/9/22 We treated an out of town friend to the Lowry and Jack was our server. He gave fantastic recommendations, was authentically himself, and kept us laughing the whole time. I was told that he's moving to the Freehouse in North Loop so if you frequent either place, ask for him! He'll take great care of you. The food was stellar as well. I got the pappardelle pasta and tried a few deviled eggs. I'm sure you can't pick a wrong thing on this menu.

The drinks and food at this restaurant were excellent! I tried the chicken Thai dish over rice, which was delicious and had a nice kick of spice to it. However, I wasn't overly impressed with the terrace area - it was a bit small and crowded with four different parties. The red vinyl tablecloth was a bit sticky and not very aesthetically pleasing, and our table was a bit wobbly. Next time, I would choose to sit inside as it looks much more attractive.
My friend recommended to try this place. And it wasn't disappointed. If or if you are there, please try the chicken French toast stack (in my picture and I could say the duck wrong) on the breakfast page of the menu. People are so friendly and the service is great. I recommend going there. You have a special come for mothers day. And also the drinks are really good? Is it gonna be okay?
The food and cocktails at this restaurant are absolutely delicious! We started with the coconut shrimp appetizer, followed by the Nashville Chicken Sandwich and Chicken Pesto Pappardelle. The Nashville chicken isn't as spicy as it's described on the menu, but it's still tasty. The pasta is incredibly flavorful and made our mouths water.
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food and drinks were delicious and arrived promptly, despite the restaurant being full. Our server was friendly and provided excellent recommendations. Highly recommend this place!

Great happy hour menu that goes until 6p each day. Quite an expansive menu otherwise, too. Surface parking lot available to the North.
The food was amazing and was at a very reasonable price.
