Such an expensive mistake. There was an attempt at something that missed the mark. Started off odd with full meal service already stacked at table before we even arrived. No warm food items (including a baked egg dish). Open face salmon dish was more 1/2 a cream bagel that you could not cut with a knife. No part of the experience was worth the almost $200 price tag with additional fees and tip.
The tea and atmosphere were delightful—truly a special experience. Afternoon tea tends to be a bit pricey, but the food made it worthwhile, especially the savory dishes like the lox and capers on the bagel and the frittata. The adult menu was $65 per person, while the child's menu cost $40, though the offerings weren't significantly different. The service was wonderful as well.
Overall enjoyable experience, food was good, tea was average. Service was ok, was only offered one scoop of tea for the entire visit, hot water was not offered frequently enough. Not allowed to enter building until 3pm exactly, it was cold out so had to wait in nearby parking garage, felt bad for the elderly ppl waiting, felt they could have offered for them to wait inside.
It is difficult to find. In an alley and around the building. When we arrived the food was already on the tiered plates. It wasn’t freshly made and the food was dried out. The treats were very small and not very flavorful. It is overpriced for quality of food, atmosphere and lacking in Réservez une table maintenant
Loved the afternoon tea experience at Lynnhall. The hosts were gracious and took special care that there were no pork products or alcohol in our meal. All the savory treats were top notch. We really loved the mango and coconut cake in the desert. The teawas truly spectacular.
Afternoon tea -Ambience was nice. The savory items had one missing and they were a bit dry and not fresh tasting. The dessert items were good. Overall, it wasn’t worth $65 per person, but trying it once was a novelty. It’s worth going once.
I visited for the holiday high tea, but it didn’t feel festive and certainly wasn’t worth the price. The food was disappointing—dry and cold. Service was extremely slow, and my overall experience was not pleasant.
Setting was lovely and food was good. I gave 4 stars because I would have liked the tea server to come around more often. I also thought the price could have been lower by about $10 per person. Réservez une table maintenant
Nice addition to Edina. Good service and food. Nice open and bright atmosphere. Interesting menu. Will be back this summer for a **** mary brunch or two or three
