Was looking for a last minute afternoon tea and the reviews looked great for this place. We were lucky to get a table considering inside sits 10 or so (and there was already a booking for 6) and it was raining so could not sit outside. It is a family/small team run cafe. Enjoyed the theme for the cutlery and crockery. It was a nice touch. Could not see afternoon tea on the menu but they have it. I think can choose which sandwiches too depending on their options of the day, same with the cakes. All freshly made (felt home made) and generous size and fillings. I cannot compliment the egg sandwich enough I was bowled over by the flavour (an egg sandwich is not normally worth raving about)! The surrounding ornaments and throne chair made the experience more unique. Did not disappoint and exceeded expectation expectations.

Took my mum for a fantastic afternoon tea on her birthday. We were able to choose our sandwich fillings x 3 and were asked what home made slice of cake we wanted. It came with delicious home made scones (plain or fruit and whatever hot drink you chose. Even though it's in the centre of town with all the tourists it was the best afternoon tea I have had so far (and I've had many!! Nothing was too much trouble, even our onion allergy was catered for as if it was an everyday problem. At £22.50 each it was very good value for money, hands down better than the pump rooms. Quirky place but very attentive, happy people. I will definitely go again. Thank you

We booked the afternoon tea for 11 people for a hen do. The place was small as we had already been told so had 2 separate tables. The selection of sandwiches and cakes was lovely and all very fresh. The staff made extras if needed more. We were told could take own prosecco so along with the tea and coffee provided we enjoyed toasting the new bride. We took Alice in wonderland themed props for fun selfies at a fun venue.
