We were welcomed by a friendly young man named Ollie, who went out of his way to ensure our evening was special. He truly exceeded our expectations and was a valuable asset to the team. Not only did he make sure our dining experience was exceptional, but he also took care of the other customers, ensuring everyone was comfortable and well looked after while enjoying their meals. I cannot believe that people are likening the food here to pub grub. The food we have had at The Grovewood is the best we've ever had anywhere. The menu is relatively limited but the food is absolutely exceptional. I cannot praise it highly enough. If the chefs can make a carrot soup that we still talk about a couple of years later, they are doing something right! The prices are very reasonable too. We were only commenting that the prices are akin to those we pay at a local chain restaurant where the food is mediocre. The food at The Grovewood is outstanding value for the quality. If we didn't live 170 miles away, this would be our restaurant of choice, no doubt about it.
We came on a deal break to the Malvern. After reading other reviews I found myself agreeing with the majority of comments made. The spa was lovely and all the different steam rooms were well worth trying. The staff here work incredibly hard a are a credit to the facility . The evening meal at The Grovewood was exceptionally good. It was well presented, tasty and good portions. We were far to full after a starter and main and couldn't have managed a dessert if we tried. The restaurant staff were friendly and courteous and my only point if I was being really picky was the ambience during dinner on the evening. Would definitely recommend and would return for another visit
My boyfriend and I visited Groveswood for a spa day and had dinner in the evening. The food, service, and atmosphere were all outstanding. The staff, especially Ollie, made us feel incredibly welcomed and went above and beyond for us. The food, prepared by Chef Chris, was exceptional. We will definitely be returning soon as we had a fantastic evening and were looked after incredibly well. Overall, we have nothing but positive things to say about our experience.

The highlights of the meal mentioned were absolutely delicious. However, I believe the wedges would have been tastier if they were baked instead of fried. Additionally, the coleslaw had too much mayo and lacked any noticeable Chipotle flavor, which was disappointing considering everything else was very tasty.
Very nice hotel and spa but the restaurant was disappointing. Good atmosphere and service but the food was average. Chicken wings for to start with was nice but not fully covered in the sauce. Cajun chicken burger looked good but bland. Will stay at spa again but dine elsewhere.
We had three courses and all were great. Rib eye steak cooked perfectly, the smorgasboard starter was great and the desserts were decent too. Had wine and that was fairly priced and nice. Service as per throughout the hotel was very friendly and at a relaxed pace.
We were greeted warmly by Ollie and made to feel welcomed and comfortable. The service was amazing as always and the food was wonderful. The cocktail and wine was particularly wonderful. Highly recommended.

First time at Malvern spa and the restaurant lunch was excellent. Quiet, calming ambience with friendly attentive staff. Would definitely return.
Lovely options across the menu and good value. Super, calm surroundings for dinner with a friend. Never disappoints.
