The Mandarin - Réservation de table

We loved it here! We heard from friends that live nearby and have been here many times that they have good food (they love the scallion pancakes and string beans with garlic sauce) and fun cocktails so decided to try it out. We got the Scorpion Bowl and the Hot and Dirty for drinks. The Scorpion Bowl was excellent! The Hot and Dirty was a little too spicy for my taste but kept trying it. Partway into our meal, I ended up getting a dirty martini and adding a splash of the hot and dirty to it and loved that? we offered to pay for both because it really just came down to my own personal taste but the waiter insisted not to charge us! Nice looking, and the staff was very friendly, but the food was just OK for the price. Egg rolls taste as if they were from a grocery freezer, General Tao's chicken had not really much taste and was not sharp at all. Lo Mein was average. Broccoli in both main dishes was limp and soggy. On the plus side the orange beef was very good. But for what they demand, we had high hopes. Maybe use basmati or jasmine rice to add a little to the meal? Reworking General Tao sauce? Just necessary. more.

In our constant search for a decent decision we tried Mandarin. What a terrible meal. 4 different dishes on our plate and it all lubricated the same. Like in taste. Vegetables old, fried rice tasteless, all tasteless. No joy here to post a bad review. Must be hard in the restaurant business, but if you're in it for God's sake, you make a decent product. That was bad, bad food.

Amazing food and great hosts! We went in at noon and had an experience that will hold us back while we are? Here in Vermont. The Crab Rangoon is exquisite and the prices were wonderful for a lunchtime. This restaurant is worth visiting and if you? not sure what to get, the staff have great recommendations! Had me at the baby bok choy. The drinks are exceptional and totally gourmet. Perfection ?..... Adding to my first review, finally got to dine in! One of the best culinary experiences of my life! Hard to top this place. Service , food , drinks, ambience..... I am mighty impressed !!!

Eating was all really good for me, good taste beautiful broth, and I must say that Lawrence is one of the most polite people I have? ve had interaction for the few times I contacted a restaurant directly. Great experience, and the prices are quite good for the area. I recommend:

Had always enjoyed Joyce's Noodle House. Mandarin is run by her son. They have the world's best crab rangoon. Mandarin has a varied menu and all tastes great. We went 2 days in a row for the lunch menu. Highest reccomendation. Food is not too heavy or salty, either.

Great takeout! Had the beef broccoli, beef chow fun, and 3 mushrooms bok choy all were excellent. It's been a long time since I've had beef chow fun, and this place made me remember why I love it so much. Definitely will be ordering from here again. Réservez une table maintenant

If you are in search of genuine Asian cuisine, this is not the restaurant for you. The chili garlic sauce is overly sweet and the hot and sour soup tastes like soy sauce. Overall, I would rate the food as 1 out of 5 stars.
