Fantastic restaurant! The atmosphere is wonderful. I dined at The Manor on a Tuesday night and was pleasantly surprised by how busy this charming little spot was. The service was very friendly and accommodating, and the food was outstanding. The moules marinière were a true masterpiece, and the lamb rack was both delicious and expertly prepared. Overall, this level of service and quality is something I would typically expect from a much more renowned establishment, and the prices are reasonable considering the high standard of the offerings. I will definitely be returning!
I had a wonderful dining experience that catered to my milk and gluten-free needs, all while feeling relaxed—something that can be quite stressful at other places. The burger was fantastic, and the service was top-notch with friendly staff. The food was absolutely delicious! We also started with the chicken wings, which were delightful and perfectly balanced in spice for our tastes.
This was my third visit to the restaurant, hoping to see some improvement. The food was decent, but the noise from the bar and the swearing were quite disappointing. I wouldn’t consider this a suitable place for a special occasion or to take a date. While the staff were friendly, it felt like no one was concerned about the inappropriate language coming from the bar.
I live in the village, and I want to express my gratitude to The Manor for the delicious fish and chips and peas they delivered to us tonight. It was absolutely wonderful and a delightful treat, especially as I am undergoing chemotherapy and have been indoors for a week. Thank you, Ruth Hosking.
