Delicious Sunday Roast, perfect after a walk round Pewley Down! We sat in the little area of the pub overlooking the bowls green by the castle, and it was a lovely atmosphere. The rest of the pub was pretty busy but as you'd expect for a Sunday afternoon. All the food was delicious and the service was prompt. The 2 courses for £25 is a good deal on a Sunday!

We had a fantastic family Sunday birthday lunch today with great service and delicious food. The atmosphere was lively and enjoyable, even though it was busy. We were grateful to the staff for adding a candle to the birthday dessert and singing 'Happy Birthday' with us. Overall, it was a highly enjoyable experience and we highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a pre-theatre meal last night so just had a main course each and a couple of drinks. Service was excellent, the pub/restaurant was very nice so you can buy a pint with your meal rather than getting stung buying tiny bottles of foreign...

I dined here over the Christmas period and despite it being incredibly busy, service was smooth and efficient. The food was incredible, the slow cooked beef fell apart in my mouth and the mash was super soft and creamy. Réservez une table maintenant

We visited on a Saturday evening. The place was very busy with a great warm “buzzy” atmosphere. The food was really good and the service was excellent. One of my favourite places to eat in the centre of Guildford

Very nice food good service recommend the soufflés ! Starter or pudding . Been before and service was better this time although they were busy .

The food is of good quality, but the portions could be larger for the price. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.

Lovely pub with a good bar area and restaurant run by excellent and attentive bar staff who really care and make you feel welcome.

This pub is fantastic with delicious food and a charming ambiance. They also have a fantastic variety of wines available.
