"Lunch was amazing and the staff were so professional and efficient. During the afternoon , tea was served in the lounge. After a very busy few days we were very tired waiting to go to the airport and it was the perfect place to relax without being bothered but waited on and our every need catered for. Excellent."

my husband and I got married here on the 18th March. from the moment we came to the hotel, we both knew that the marcliffe would not be beaten by another hotel! throughout the entire planning process, the employees, especially marion, gaynor and doreen, were very patient and extremely helpful in asking, ideas and panic I had. many of our family and friends stayed in the hotel and attention to each one was undoubtedly good. every moment before and on the day of the high season, the staff were available directly suppliers, offer us everything we needed, but above all they checked to see that I was quiet and collected! eating and drinking in the hotel was delicious. the meal was cooked to perfe...
we visited the marcliffe for my birthday meal last week and the entire experience from beginning to end was error-free. we were greeted by friendly staff and our server come somelier was first class, recommending the most beautiful white wine to go with our mouth water-cheaubriand, which just melted in the mouth. a nice note was the happy birthday truffles waiting for me in the salon when we had coffee after the meal. I can't recommend enough that they get what they pay in a first-class operation, that's the client!
very friendly and professional staff. our room was immaculate and large. the dinner was fantastic appetizers -scallops and I had suppe, net were surfing towers that my man said was the best he ever tasted, I had lemon sole, the portions were considerable, so there was no place for pudding the breakfast was amazing. I had fresh fruits, then kedgeree my man had cooked full, I couldn't owe anything. would definitely recommend and will visit again without delay.
our high time at the marcliffe was a fantastic day from beginning to end! the staff were all great and very friendly and lee was a superstar all day. eating was amazing, service top note and the special touches in our room were beautiful! we had luck enough to get sunshine, which made for some crisp photos also outside! would recommend everyone to consider it as a venue!
