The Meare Shop And Tearoom

As a local, I've been coming here my entire life! The beautifully decorated space offers delicious local cuisine at a great price. The staff is incredibly nice and friendly. I have many happy childhood memories of this place, and now I'm bringing my grandchildren here to create new ones!

They can explore the world, but it's hard to find a better place than this. As a local, I never tire of coming here. The food is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the view is amazing—what more could you ask for?

Order at the window, Sit outside. Some seating indoors i guess for the colder wetter days? Hot or cold drinks, sandwiches or hot food available. Due to covid stock of gifts etc has disappeared.

Really good food overlooking the lake where people where rowing and other people milling around creating a great atmosphere. Recommend.
