We visited this restaurant yesterday and were the second table to arrive. The server was extremely stiff and looked at us strangely. I am a white Australian woman, I was there with my wife and best friend, both of whom are brown. We can’t think...of any reason other than this (Queerness and the colour of my wife and best friend’s skin that we would be treated like this as we were all clean, well-dressed and polite. The food at Food Wine Co is simply stunning ! Tonight we had the beef and chicken skewers (and shared them). The meat is succulent and perfectly cooked. The chips are also brilliant beer batter chips delicious. A garden salad was also...the perfect accompaniment. Our seat wasn't great top of the stairs and in the thoroughfare to the toilets (and also where staff congregate to chat about other staff). (And one of the staff continually walked past clearing his throat and coughing so not feeling Covid safe Plenty of other great spots to be seated ours just wasn't great (poor ambience and service a little off). But we'll definitely be back as the food is stunning and I'll be sure to say we don't...
We visited on a Thursday night while staying at the intercontinental. Restaurant was very quiet , much quieter than during the lunch time hours when I have been previously. We ordered a couple of really nice cocktails before deciding on the entree tasting plate with...the pork belly, bruschetta, calamari, and South African sausage, and pickled Spanish onions. Was just wonderful. We struggled to complete our mains of steak and skewered beef after having such a large entree but everything was Beautifully cooked to order. A must try when in the city.
that was a surprise dinner organized by my son and his wife. when we went to the venue, we were immediately so simple, great decor, inviting service that was continued during the meal. yes, the city prices are higher than the small ones, but always over them. each dish was so delicious and a nice choice of weeping to reasonable trips. we sat in an opposite side and it was intimate and reasonable quiet so that she could speak without screaming. think about eating .i want to be back so soon also can .well be done about event, cook and personal.

we visited this restaurant for lunch on a cold wet day. the restaurant was very pleasant with an African decor. the waiters were very good and had menu knowledge. the food was well presented and cooked for perfection. we had the two course lunch speciality we shared. good staff. good food. good wine list. will return.
After previously dining at the Barangaroo restaurant, I was less than enthusiastic to be here. Only had a burger but it was so so good in every way. It tasted clean but juicy and fulfilling at the same time. Service was friendly without being over...bearing. A really enjoyable visit.
Visited here for business it was quiet (CBD and Covid and lack of tourists)....but the service was excellent and the food delicious. We had the Portuguese chicken skewers which were perfectly cooked with a good salad. I will certainly return....
If I'm paying for a steak I kind of expect to get a bit of extras with it. The meal came with a very small bowl of chips and nothing else. Sauce Extra, Salad Extra, Service, Extra. I won't go back.

it was beautiful and pleasant. eating is average, but location is exactly where the opernhaus is, cannot complain, but not just enthusiastic. reasonable experience
First time at this restaurant and absolutely love it.
