I would post a picture of my food, but I usually ate it before I remember putting a review. Friendly environment, staff and great tasting food. We have dinner here a few times, even back to the back nights (it's just so good! . The prices are fair for the amount of food you receive, and I like that there are not 20 different sauces to cover the great Smokey taste. The taste of the BBQ alone is sufficient, why do you hide it behind a bunch of sauce? I'm happy to eat here every time we can. Thank you for sharing your great food for everyone to experience and support your community during Hurricane Harvey (free food for helpers and saviour). We're coming back!
I was recommended this place by a trainer at York JH, so my family and I decided to check it out at the corner of 99 and Rayford Rd. We had breakfast tacos with BBQ upstairs, and I must say, they were the best tacos I've ever had. The Meating Place is a fantastic restaurant with excellent grilling and incredibly friendly staff. The owner even came out to chat with us, which is the kind of personal touch you rarely find in restaurants today. Even though it requires a bit of a drive, we frequently return for the amazing food and outstanding service. I highly recommend this place to everyone!
I recently dined at this restaurant with my family, which includes four adults and two grandchildren, and we were all incredibly pleased with our experience. The baked potato was generously topped with plenty of meat and fixings. The ribs were out of this world—delicious and falling off the bone. Honestly, they were even better than my own! We couldn't get enough. The brisket was also delicious, tender, and juicy, and the sides were excellent as well. Overall, it was a fantastic meal!
What a fantastic spot for lunch! My friend and I stopped by today and really enjoyed our meal. The restaurant was impeccably clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I even had the pleasure of meeting the owner and his daughter, both of whom were genuinely kind. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious barbecue paired with the warm Texas hospitality that truly defines it. It’s a great place for families as well! First time here and loved it! Staff was friendly and attentive and food was awesome! Definitely going back for their 1904 sandwich! The best of a grilled cheese sandwich filled with super tender and flavorful brisket! Ribs, pulled pork, turkey, and jalapeño sausage were all delicious. And we can't leave out mentioning their green beans are sooo good! To full to try their pies, so next time for sure! We'll def be back! Thanks!
Have heard about this place for a while and have tasted their amazing bakery. Last night we actually stopped at the location for dinner. The food is really good! (ribs were some of the best I’ve ever had). The owner is very engaging! This will be one of our go-to places!
I would encourage anyone to go and try them out! The smoked meats are second to none. They also have amazing sandwich's and potatoes. Recently added salads for a healthier option and it was great as well. Love the frito pie and tacos!! Thanks for all your hard work.
