Today I visited this restaurant with my 87-year-old mother and 86-year-old aunt. We were warmly welcomed by Ros and the other customers already there. Everything was freshly made and there was lots of conversation, which made for a special experience, even if it wasn't as quick as some people may prefer. It felt like we were having lunch in Ros' home - it was so friendly and the food was excellent, all at amazing prices. I can't wait to go back.
As usual a lovely welcome from Rosalind at this quaint tearoom, this time my husband and I took my mother in law for a light lunch and cakes, with a proper cup of tea. You never feel rushed and its always nice to chat with our hostess who has lots of local information. Jams and Chutneys for sale as well as some hand knitted items. We will be back again. what a sound! such a primitive little caffe, inviting owner who is more than happy to share. very reasonable prices and servings, tasty homemade cakes and speck softies that are spoken for the coming old. if they have little ones who become impatient while waiting, there is a play park right behind the caffe: will be back in any case
This place is a little gem. Small but has such a quaint feel to it. It's clean, tidy, the food is simple, delicious and satisfying. This place oozes character, history and is a cosy wee eatery. A must visit if you're in the area and certainly worth going a little out of your way if not. Five Star. Réservez une table maintenant
I absolutely adore this quaint cafe. The desserts are delicious and the tea is even more enjoyable as it's served in charming vintage teacups. Ros, the owner, is delightful and we always have a great chat whenever I visit. She even provides water for my furry companion.
extremely friendly family café. we had lunch before, so we just had tee and tablet bakeries that were really worth the drive to come here. the Malteser tablet back is definitely worth the trip alone. 5 stars clean plates round
Charming little tea shop with a wide variety of cakes and hearty meals. Located in a hidden spot, but definitely worth a visit.
