My wonderful kids took me from Rockford, Il., to Madison, Wi., for a surprise Mothers Day dinner. This was all 3 of ours first time at the Melting Pot! We had 7:15pm reservations, but got there a little early! We expected them to be very busy, due to the type of restaurant it being a busy holiday. We were very excited to make the trip experience this type of restaurant! We had a longer than average wait for a table, it was very busy! I will be honest as I am in all my reviews. This was my first time coming here after years of hearing how nice this place was. So for starters we had a 615 reservation and didn't get seated until a hr later. The savior of the day was our waiter Luke M. He was very kind patient and very attentive. To me he was the highlight of my experience because the food was OK but not worth the $90 I paid for my meal. Overall the food was decent but the experience and Luke was perfect.

I have been to this place a few times now and each time has been amazing! The atmosphere is extremely welcoming, the food tastes great and is fresh, but most importantly the staff was amazing. Luke M. was our waiter and he was perfect! I’ll definitely be asking for him next time I go. All in all fabulous experience and will be visiting again.

I had the best Mother's day meal! Our server was awesome. I'm sorry I don't remember her name, she definitely needs a shout-out!!

Food is good but pricey, staff is friendly and helpful. It's a fun experience.
