For my date and I, it took just over 12 minutes after being seated to be seen by a server (they did seat us behind a big wall, so that could have played a part). We were probably only checked in on 3 times total by our server in the 1 hour we were there, and we sat there with empty plates waiting to ask for the bill for over 15 minutes as well. Brought a large group for a birthday party and was told it was a one bill policy. What they forgot to mention was that at the end of it everyone had to do the math for what they owed.What's the sense paying an 18% gratuity due to all the excess work incurred from a large party if you're going to make them solve for X just to pay up. Went for the arrancini balls, which were good. Had them earlier in the week and noticed them on the Happy Hour menu. No happy hour deal when one gets 5 for 15.00, regular menu),or 3 for 9.00. I guess that is one reason why Earl's and Cactus Club in same location were busy and Met was ....not busy at all.

Our waitress was lovely, very friendly and helpful. My burger was not cooked through so I sent it back. She felt horrible but totally not her fault and it was tasting good too. Prices are high, $24 for a burger? It's the times we live in and it's downtown.
I had dinner with a client and it was a nice restaurant. It was very busy as there was a energy conference in town and most of the people were there. Service was attentive and the food was good. I had the duck confit and waffles which was delicious.
We had a Christmas party there over the last weekend. From the time of booking the place to the event and the service , everything was smooth and done very professionally. It’s a a great venue for an event or an evening to remember.
Was a great place, semi regularly came for lunch here.Note: they are shutting down on December 18th 2022, to reopen somewhere on 17th Street in about 6 month time.Shame to see them go.They DID have Duval, until we drank it all ;

Nice establishment inside with a spacious outside patio. The service was really good and the sliders were tasty. A pickle on top would have made it perfect, but that’s just my personal opinion.
brisket sandwiches is very juicy and delicious, but i do not recommend the fries with it as they were too salty for me.No to-go cups for coffee. Very friendly
