So impressed with The Millstone tonight. The food was excellent as always, but what really made our evening was the fantastic staff. We were there with our children and our grandchildren, so from age 60 to 7 months! Staff couldn't do enough to help and make things perfect for us. They are so thoughtful and kind. All of them full of smiles, warm and friendly, as well as highly efficient. They really made our night and I can't thank them enough. Highly recommend a visit here.
I visited here with a friend. I had a main from the specials and my friend had the curry. Both meals were delicious followed by desert which was equally as tasty. One of my hang ups is good not being served on a hot plate, no issues with that here! The service was excellent and there was a good vibe throughout the evening. Would definitely recommend.
Not impressed, £14 for 3 small sausages, 3 scoops of mustard mash and some gravy, nothing to write home about, none of our party really enjoyed the food, it was ok, but that's it, an hour from when we sat down to getting first course. Sorry but I won't recommend, and definitely won't be back.
Lovely selection of beverages on offer, and a great variety on the menu, lots of outside seating available. I found the chips a little dry and batter a bit soft for my liking but there were lots of clear plates all around which is a good sign. I would recommend this venue. And visit again. beautiful atmosphere in well maintained and modern interieur. warm and friendly staff, prompt service. eating is excellent! and surprisingly cheap. can not recommend this place enough, and can not wait to return.

What a gem. Lots of parking. Staff are absolutely brilliant. Great food very reasonably priced. Everywhere so clean. Felt very welcome. Definitely go again.
Fantastic Sunday lunch with family. Roast beef was lovely but the ham hock starter was superb.... as was the trout.. and the sausage and mash... Réservez une table maintenant
