Several weeks ago I came here with a party of 9. We ordered pasta dishes, Chicken Francaise and burgers. The wait staff was attentive, friendly and efficient. I did not feel like dinner so I ordered Bagel all the Way which included smoked salmon(lox), cream cheese, plain bagel, lettuce, tomato, olives and capers. Usually when I order this dish I have to ask for additional, cream cheese or onion or tomato. It came with what I needed for both sides of a bagel. The Mirage Restaurant is across the street from Iona College so it was crowded with students. We ordered 5 dishes to go and all were terrible. Mac and cheese (overcooked pasta), mango salmon salad (they didn't put the salmon in and put extra mango when we asked them to omit it), chicken salad (dry chicken), hot dog with fries (cold tasteless fries, overcooked hotdog) overly salted lentil soup. we feel sorry for those Iona students..... On the bright side, when we called they took off the salmon salad price and 10% off the bill. Will not give them our business again. Money wasted.
If you're in the New Rochelle Yonkers area and looking for a diner cafe with an extensive menu and food options then stop by here. The food was pretty good stopped by here with my girlfriend cousin on a Sunday brunch time. We ordered the Mirage club sandwich alongside chicken waffle order. The service was pretty quick and the inside was super huge which gives you option of sitting pretty far from others. Definitely would recommend!
This was my first time dining here. It has such a nice and open layout. High ceilings with multicolored lights. The waitress was great! I had a Pina colada which was ok...it needed just a bit more booze,lol. My entree was fried fish tacos with yellow rice and refried beans,which was filling. It's flavor wasn't overwhelming nor powerful . Chipotle aioli sauce would have kicked up the flavor a bit.

My food was ok, but this one delivery guy needs to either be fired or demoted. He just dropped my food off at a random location, meanwhile in my delivery instructions I had said to hand the food directly to me at my building's front steps. I had to the call the store and him back and forth about my food. And then when he finally showed up, HE gave ME an attitude. Like huh? Luckily I didn't tip!
Food was good and waitress was super. She alerted us that someone was now feeding the fish in the tank and thought our grandson would enjoy seeing it. She also whispered that the kids meal came with ice cream. So thankful for her sensitivity.Great ambiance AND a cocktail/bar area!
Was on a hunt for wings and it was pretty late. Mirage was the only guys who would deliver for cash. That's the only good thing I have to say about them. The wings were terrible. Like trash. I remember them being a lot better when they were a diner
of the iona university in new rochelle, which is a perfect location for this restaurant. the decor is really cool and hip. eating, glooming, bar and personal are all top cook. great place for a meal.

It has a vast menu, but the food wasn't as spectacular as the display. It makes for a good causal eating spot, and the prices are reasonable. Except huge portions!
My go-to for breakfast in New Rochelle! Great food and good service. There is always available seating.
