I visited this pub for a dinner as I was staying in the area and I always rate the decent value offered by Wetherspoons for its food with a drink included. The pub is located on the main A5 although set back from the road itself in a row of shops and buildings known as Varley Parade. It is a large building, which originally was built as a Woolworths store which is how it operated until 1984. This isn’t my first time visiting here, I come from out of town to visit friends and always stop here for drink and a quick bite to eat. Every single time I’ve been here the staff have been nothing but friendly and a delight. This time though, I found myself stood at the bar ready to order food and was greeted by a woman (who’s name I didn’t catch) wearing a “team leader” badge with no “hi how are you?” no “what can I get you?” Not even a simple “hello” but a cold, dry, emotionless “yeah?” This experience hasn’t sullied my view of the pub, and I would still definitely recommend a visit to other people, it’s almost certain I will still make a return, but I am concerned that someone in a more...
The restaurant offers fast service and great deals. There are plenty of private booths and screens for privacy. The restaurant has many clean, family-friendly tables available. The food was delicious, making it a nice spot to meet up for casual dining and drinks. The staff is friendly and approachable. I particularly enjoyed using their ordering app, showing that Wetherspoons was ahead of the curve when they introduced it pre-Covid.
If you want to watch alcohol damaged human beings, eat cheap **** food and like the sound of your own voice, then this place is all yours! Only go there if you run out of money, like to get pissed early morning and like **** heads company! Greasy, dark and fake old fashion pub decor I you dislike someone..... bring him there!

Alright for a quick stop over for breakfast of you don’t expect anything fancy. The place was empty on a Sunday morning but the food took around 15-20 min to arrive. My bagel was a bit soggy. If you don’t expect a Michelin restaurant it surly ok and does the job. Not sure about busier times though
My wife and I visited this restaurant for breakfast. The food was of excellent quality and tasted great. I would even go as far as to say it was the best breakfast I have had in years. I ordered the American breakfast and my wife had the small traditional breakfast.
My family of four dined at this restaurant, which we hadn't visited in years. The staff was friendly and the food was quickly prepared, delicious, and served hot. The cost was very reasonable as well. We will definitely be returning in the future.
Disappointing, the only good thing was my beer… The burnt hamburger was a complete disaster. It was blackened, dry, and tasted like burnt rubber. Avoid at all costs.

Eaten at many Wethys and always found it value for money and good, the food here was awful, ordered burgers, came like the happy meal burger from mac d. Never again!
worst steak you can imagine(chewing gum).not all steaks are sirloin.we ask for medium but all are well done.if you can't cook or read .don't sell steaks
