I had the sea bass, which was absolutely delicious! I can honestly say that it was the best meal out for a very long time! Everything tasted fresh and cooked perfectly. I will certainly return. Ambience only got 4 stars as the door was open so that children belonging to the large group next to us could get in and out for the play area, which made it a bit chilly. Apart from that, it was great!
This is and has been my favourite place to eat in Morecambe for a few years. Sunday Dinner is always a favourite. There’s an excellent portion with a nice variety of fresh vegetables. Rich gravy and all the trimmings. We love the starters, freshly prepared and Morecambe shrimp- lovely. It is not the cheapest but the food is really excellent quality and good providence.
We were a party of 6 plus a toddler for Sunday lunch. Three of us ordered lamb which was very difficult to cut and chew. The beef was a little better but not by much. The roast potatoes were like rocks. Until they have a chef who can cook meat and roast potatoes then they shouldn’t serve roast dinners.
A pleasant dining room, attentive staff. But expensive. Two of us had the roast, one beef, one lamb. Nice vegetables, but completely spoiled by the meat. I would have thought for £20 (less for a small plate) the meat would have been carved from a joint, not a rubbery prepacked slice. Réservez une table maintenant
Our server was great a busy restaurant and she seemed to be on her own (sorry, didn't get her name). The food was OK nothing exciting but we ate most of it. We did feel it was a bit pricey however.
Always worth a meal here when you come to Morecambe. Friendly staff, nice surroundings. Good choice of food and drinks. Quality food nicely prepared and presented.
Ah we had a lovely lunch for my son's birthday. Joshua, my son, even got a candle and a Happy Birthday song. Really attentive and the food was good. Thanks
It’s understaffed so struggles on service and ambience. Also my 3 wine choices were not available Réservez une table maintenant
