Has new staff starting In context we walked in, no booking, and offered a table for 6. Ordered drinks and food Drinks order went wrong- after the second error (gin no tonic) the barman resolved. Food order wrong ordered for 6 for food for 5. Resolved but a delay We either got a bad day or there are issues. It's clean, it's large it seems ok. We booked a table for Saturday 2nd December 2023, I had the crispy squid as a starter and followed with the beer battered cod, less than an hour after eating I was sick and had terrible stomach cramps, watery diarrhea and nausea, a clear case of food poisoning. Good value food (best nocci dish I've ever had) nicely presented dishes, very pleasant, attentive efficient staff, but quite noisy environment. Wine ok-ish, beer good. The refurb is lovely internally and the beer garden looks brilliant. Food was quality, tasty, well presented and service was good (even on a busy rehearsal night). A little bit of background music would improve the ambience and then I'd give you 6 stars, lol!! Great transformation and I wish the B&P team all the best. Thanks. Réservez une table maintenant
I had a meal to celebrate a birthday. the staff was very attentive, although it was very busy and the meal was delicious. I had the duck that was cooked to perfection. the first time it is visited, but it will not be the last. well done in all teams
