Out looking for real estate with good foodie mate in the Glenelg area, well, there are only so many properties you can peruse before lunch and then it hits! Grrr hungry, lets go Glenelg see what’s happening! Ventured in to The Moseley, good choice. Décor is quite chic for a hotel and we were quickly ushered upstairs for lunch. As a few other reviewers have mentioned these guys got rated the best pub burger of 2017. So one day i was feeling like a burger and had a chance to get here for a visit. Interior is nice. Pretty relaxing place. Especially on a nice day. Service is above average. Friendly. Nice. Meal came out in ok time considering it was past the lunch rush and not many others were eating. Chips were decent. Underseasoned but still crunchy and salt was on the table so could season to taste. Burger was pretty good but not as good as i was hoping. Not enough acid, too much relish, not enough seasoning. But not bad. Thought the chefs may have made sure their winning burger' would have been sent out perfect...r...
Undoubtedly one of the worst dining experiences of all time. The starters/appetizer prawns sounded great on the menu but were tasteless and overcooked, worse they arrived with the main course. When I asked if I could substitute the beef burger pattie for a chicken breast, the chef said he couldn't do it. Why not? The mushroom pizza was disgusting. Would never eat there again.
Downstairs at The Moseley is rapidly becoming one of our favourite haunts. A simple menu (but not simple food) with everything superbly done. Fantastic staff delivering fantastic service - I just can't say enough good things about The Moseley. Downstairs has a great range of gluten free options and the staff will always go the extra mile to meet your needs.
I would say that was the best place in glenelg. I had breakfast and lunch and loved the mood. it was a pub/restaurant/café in a large selection of drinks in the offer. also the children's menu dried and they were very accommodating for children. the food was good and the staff rocked Réservez une table maintenant
