this is a beautiful pub and the atmosphere is really welcoming. we sat in the bar, but I had a look at the restaurant that looks amazing. they have a separate vegan menu with appetizers, nets, sides and gloom. I had the burger with the Broccoli side plate and it was great. I intend to try the next time all the food salad that looked really good. (and the apple crowded with crow). the service was brilliant and there was a parade of dogs that was even better! I asked for the vegan options and they brought me the separate menu, as it is only the salat listed on the entire menu.
processed 23/2/22- sad to see that during a recent visit they no longer have a separate vegan menu and only have the standard moving mountains burger, which was not so impressive. however, they still have a vegan dessert option. updated by previous review on 2019-06-13
From when I booked on line to finishing the eve the service and care was excellent, atmosphere was brilliant, waiter and waitress were ver tentative, quick good service , food was served quick and was gorgeous.
Good food with generous portions, extensive menu and friendly service. However felt it was a little overpriced. Apart from that lovely decor and location so will happily be returning!

it was so nice to see a separate vegan menu, the personal was nice for me and my friend and the meal (tagliatelle) was delicious!
Disappointed this time at food was overcooked dry chicken and veg side was brown cabbage didn't eat it.

Given it's on the side of a travel lodge on the M62 this is a surprisingly good quality pub.
