great food. eating was excellent for lunch and not as expensive as I feared. I had the Greek salat made with a twist on the standard. it included artichoke hearts, roasted red paprika (on my request to replace green paprika), and nieren beans, along with the classic in a super tasty dressing, which is a ranch / feta combo. the roll was really good and warm with unusual and tasty spread./ my lunch pal had the crab cake that he enjoyed and excellently groomed. on his request they replaced cocktail sauce./ service was in order, we were the only one there shortly before midday, but others came in.
The New American Bistro is an excellent BYOB restaurant where you will feel like you are dining at a friend's home. It is perfect for both lunch and dinner, with specials written on a large chalkboard that change frequently. The food is of high caliber, reminiscent of the original American Bistro in Morton. The seafood dishes are a standout, with fresh fish and perfectly cooked shellfish. The location may not be crucial with food this good. My husband and I have never had a bad meal here, as Robert continues to impress with his soups, sauces, and interesting pairings.

Menu très créatif avec des prix raisonnables. J'ai eu la salade de saumon qui était magnifiquement préparée et assez délicieuse. Une très belle touche était le côté de la salsa à la mangue servie pour le saumon. Robbie est un joyau. Il m'a accueilli par mon nom quand je suis entré et a pris TRÈS bien soin de moi tout au long du dîner. C'est un bijou

J'étais très inquiet d'être en charge de choisir le restaurant pour l'anniversaire de mon frère! Certains de mes proches sont un peu pointilleux quant à l'endroit où ils dînent. Tout le monde était ravi de la nourriture et a tout simplement adoré le restaurant, j'étais ravi !!! Tout le monde a parlé d'y retourner.Merci American Bistro!
Very creative menu with reasonable prices. I had the salmon salad which was prepared beautifully and quite delicious. A very nice touch was the side of mango salsa served for the salmon. Robbie is a gem. He greeted me by name when I entered and took VERY good care of me through the dinner. He is a gem!
The waiter asked us if we were ready to order, said okay, and then never returned. After 15 minutes, we had to wave him down to take our order. He didn't even apologize, and the restaurant wasn't busy enough for him to be inattentive.
The food is delicious, with a wide selection of daily specials that are excellent. Customers are welcome to bring their own wine. The only downside is the presence of a television, which some diners may not enjoy.

American Bistro has a very nice salad and delicious food. We did not have dessert. The staff was very attentive since there were few people there on a Sunday night. Recommend it!!!
