The New Hare And Hounds

Been here loads of times, got the steak and ale pie which I've had before. I've never had it with loads of carrots and onions like that and I'll never get it again. It used to be the best I'd ever had and we go out to a lot of different places but I was very disappointed with it. When we asked about it we got told that the recipe hadn't changed. We know different. The menu should say steak, ale, onion and carrot pie. I don't like onion, my choice but the menu is getting limited to what I can have. Got a burger the last time I was there and the burger sauce was full of garlic, something else I don't like Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Called in after our day out ! Omg the best food we have had in months, meat cooked to perfection and plenty of vegetables, service was quick and friendly atmosphere. Visited quite a few times now, the home cooked food is amazing, never ordered the same thing twice and always enjoyed what we've received, the staff are friendly which creates a great atmosphere.... definitely recommended Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Seafood Platter, Tipsy Chicken Chips Salad, Mixed Grill, Burgers

I highly recommend this restaurant for their delicious home-cooked food and varied menu. The price per person ranges from £10-20. The food quality is top-notch, I would rate it a 5. The food was amazing with a wide selection on the menu. The portion sizes were generous and it made for a delightful evening. The price per person ranged from £20 to £30. The food and service both received a rating of 5, while the atmosphere was rated a 4.
