We we’re the only table using the restaurant , there wasn’t any ambience , light background music would have been appreciated . The chips onion rings were very lack lustre. The fish dish was however cooked nicely . We had dessert which was extremely expensive for the very small portion of cheesecake on offer ! All in all disappointing after the good reviews we had read online . Wouldn’t book again for a special meal , very average !
Turned up early for Sunday lunch but staff said that's fine no problem we like early, The Menu was very good lot's of dishes to choose from My starter was home made Tomato soup and was absolutely delicious then we had the Roast Beef which was cooked to a turn and was lovely. Can't wait till next years Holiday so we can book again, overall it was first class and very reasonably priced Great stuff.
The restaurant used to offer a good deal with 2 meals (fish and chips) for £15 every Thursday, but it seems they no longer have this promotion. This resulted in the cost being higher than expected, more than the previous price of £13 per meal.
Always decent but advertising online for 2 meals(fish n chips) for £15 every Thursday but apparently don’t offer anymore so cost more than thought would do as £13 each Réservez une table maintenant
The Sunday lunches at this restaurant are exceptional, with expertly cooked dishes and delicious homemade desserts.
Fabulous Sunday Lunch and fabulous fish and chips (better than Rick Steins! . Lovely atmosphere well worth a visit.

"The £23 BBQ experience was disappointing as many items were missing, including the advertised seafood. I ended up settling for rice and noodles instead. When I requested a discount on the bill for the missing items, it was refused. Overall, it was not worth the price."
