The New Inn - Réservation de table

During our weekend stay at Forest Holidays, we decided to dine at a pub recommended on their website. The pub had a charming atmosphere and friendly bar staff, but unfortunately, the food was extremely disappointing. The lasagne tasted like a supermarket ready meal, and the chicken burgers were overcooked and inedible. It seemed as though the food had been reheated rather than freshly prepared by trained chefs. We were able to negotiate a discount on the bill, as most of the food went untouched due to its poor quality. Overall, we left the pub feeling hungry and disappointed. It is a shame as the pub has the potential to be a great dining spot.

Me and my family decided to book here as a group of 13 for my sons birthday and wow so glad we did the staff were so friendly and amazing and the food was great all cooked perfect and the steak was amazing would come here again and I really recommend this brilliant little gem of a restaurant.

Lovely staff, but the food was awful. Overcooked fish and fry chicken, chips were more like wedges and so dark and soggy, not crispy. Tasted like they were a day old. One of our starters was also forgotten but we got refunded. The girl behind the bar works extremely hard and was friendly.

After a long day of walking stumbled across this little gem Staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was reasonably priced freshly cooked and good quality (soup was banging). My only disappointment is that I don't live closer so I could come back more often ... Réservez une table maintenant

Amazing traditional pub. Great beer, amazing food and wonderful hospitality. Big thank to you Teresa for her great service and welcoming smile. Dined on a Thursday, it was so good that I had to go back on Friday and Saturday

We went for Sunday lunch, the ‘mega’ option was very nice.. and massive! The lovely staff looked after us really well, chatted and had fun with our kids and generally made us feel welcome. Perfect.

The food was absolutely delightful, the staff were very helpful, and the atmosphere was amazing. I highly recommend trying the roast dinners as they were delicious.

£25.80 for a glass of wine, tuna sandwich and hot chocolate I think that's extortionate will not return and urge others to avoid Réservez une table maintenant

Overall, very friendly staff, good food, poor choice of ales, prices fair. Jukebox was added entertainment. 3.5 out 5 I'd say.

Food lovely,very pleasant barmaid jack of all trades she was on her own and it was very busy so rushed off her feet.
