The New Robin Hood

We loved the Robin Hood Phil and Janie are amazing people and an amazing team working together, we had a full English and it was spot on the best breakfast we had in Puerto de la cruz, and also booked a Sunday dinner and we chose sticky toffee pudding and custard for pudding which also was so tasty, Phil and Janie also do school projects and they provide breakfast for the local school children which I think shows in itself they are here to make people happy and smile, Phil and Janie take the time to talk to you and make there time with them enjoyable, they also provide quiz nights and karaoke, and they do a fish Friday and a pie day too, well worth visiting we made friends with people that a...

Bueno, empezaré diciendo que mi esposa y yo somos de Irlanda, y nos hablaron de este lugar, así que dijimos que lo probáramos y, a decir verdad, ¿es fantástico aquí? No podría superarlo si quisiera, Phil, el barman/propietario, creo que podría ser, es simplemente un tipo realmente extrovertido y agradable. Hizo todo lo posible por nosotros en todo lo que necesitábamos. Comí el asado primero el domingo, ya que habíamos reservado con anticipación y hoy comí pescado y papas fritas y ambos estaban simplemente hermosos. Nuestro segundo año viniendo aquí, así que planeamos muchos años más por venir, por lo que esto es imprescindible para nosotros cuando lo visitemos.

Closed on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday while we were there. We went along for quiz night on both Thursday nights we were there. Busy and fun evening. Mostly Brits but also a mix of ex pats and other visiting tourists. Had the Sunday lunch and breakfast. Both excellent and good value. Thanks Phil for some great times. Alan and Fiona.

we came to have the fish and chips on friday. What a joy to see a plate that looked so scrumptious. No grease, but a big piece of fish in a light batter. garden peas ,potato wedges and homemade tatarsauce. Perfect to look at and to taste. Phil is a lovely host and makes you feel very welcome. Went for Sunday carvery and it was the best food I've had in the 10 days I have been here. Highly recommended for English travellers
