A great place for a meal. The Beresford burger was delicious! Well cooked and juicy! The bun could of been different, something more crisp and fresh. The bun reminded me of Mcdonalds cheese burger buns, but it was still nice!The upstairs club was super busy early on! I guess everyone comes out earlier nowadays due to the Sydney lockout times which happen after midnight.The bar service downstairs was great earlier in the night, but come about midnight it was difficult to get a drink. I came here as a direct result of a recommendation from a friend who said the pizza is just like in Italy. Having never been to Italy and loving pizza this was the first stop on my list. I got the pizza Margherita. It was good, it was very good. But the texture was not something I cared for or was use to. One whole pizza is like a heavy snack, not super filling. That's ok. What I didn't care for was the texture. Only the outer edges of the crust were crisp. Anything inside of the crust was super soggy and there was exactly 0 char on the bottom of this pizza. Our office moved from Meadowbank to Surry Hills about 2 1/2 years ago & the very first time we had a work lunch function held here we all enjoyed the atmosphere, the food/drink, the alfresco area & the staff of professionals at this place, still now it hasn't changed. No matter how often the staff change (travellers) every single person that's been hired in my own opinion are all professionals. I see how they all interact with each other as a team & how they all make each & every patron all feel welcome without fail - that's why I love coming here with my work friends, I never have anything bad to say about this place & all the staff that work here are all individually all fantastic.
Not sure if outside is the best place to be serving alcohol in glass. Was out for drinks on a wet Saturday night and outside was absolute chaos. Broken glass everywhere on a uneven paved courtyard is just plain dangerous. The manager of operations and the owner should consider changing to melamine cups to reduce the amount of glass outside because a lot of your patrons that night couldn't hold their drinks. Not to mention the fire alarm was set off and we were unable to leave the premises until they found the culprit. Pretty ridiculous maybe more security is the way to go guys. Won't be recommending this place anytime soon.

Accidentally found this place which is clearly a local favourite. Lovely outdoor area and packed with a youngish crowd. Great vibe...very friendly and everyone doing their thing with no hassle. Bar staff efficient and friendly. Meals were good (we had steak) but needed a sauce of some kind. Not sure what happy hour rules are but our first two pints cost $20 (which we thought was OK) and the next two $12. Will go again next time we visit the big smoke.
We stopped in for a quick bite to eat in the courtyard.Nicely designer bar & restaurant area.Courtyard is great on nice sunny Sydney days.We had the lamb sliders which were great! The beetroot salad was a little disappointing - not much taste. I'm guessing the beetroots weren't fresh.Good wine and cocktail list - reasonably priced also.
Great place to catch up for lunch, but on week ends you definitely need to book a table. Not a large menu which is good , fresher produce and ingredients. Average pub prices for food and beer garden drinks. Meal of very adequate size, chicken wings nearly stopped me, but I enjoyed the flavour. Not overly noisy ,so could still chat.
We met a group of friends here for a quick lunch and a few drinks before a footy game at the SCG. Loved the location, the decor, the service, the food was good and drinks cold. A great place to meet friends.

We were here for a birthday party. It was an excellent venue for the party. The meals were good. This is a very large hotel and as it was a Saturday it was very busy. We all enjoyed the afternoon/evening.
Pretty fun Sunday sesh here. Came here with a group of mates for drinks after work. Good atmosphere and good music. Great beer garden out the back.
