The Newport - Réservation de table

We decided to stay at the hotel and try the 6 course tasting menu paired with wine. It was a fantastic gastronomic journey. We were very well taken care of from the moment we arrived, with each course expertly explained to us. We had visited the restaurant once before, a few years ago, and remembered it as a fine dining experience connected to a busy pub. However, the restaurant has since been transformed, with the bar now seamlessly integrated into the dining space. Overall, a good but pricey experience. Parking is available on site, though spaces are limited. The service, food, and atmosphere all received top marks. Price per person is £100+. Free parking is available in the parking lot.

Had the 8 course tasting menu and it was fabulous. Highly recommended for a special occasion or an indulgent treat. Each course was presented beautifully and inmost cases was served by the chef who cooked it. Overall good value for money for what we got. We stayed over and the breakfast the following day was also exceptional. Staff were all friendly and knew the menu very well. Great experience and we no doubt be back soon. I went out for lunch at this restaurant and had a dining experience that exceeded my expectations. The price per person was between £40-50, but the quality of the food made it worth every penny. I rated the food and service a perfect 5 out of 5, as everything was delicious and the staff were attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was also very pleasant, scoring a 4 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Black Garlic Dip, as it was one of the standout dishes of the meal.

Outstanding. We had the 6 course tasting menu. It was brilliant. Everything was delicious and well presented. They describe each meal as it comes out, the service was wonderful. Also, my partner has an egg allergy and they catered for her perfectly, with tweaks along the way.
