The North End at 4580 fka 4580

Came here in a quiet, rainy night. Our GPS brought us to a hidden parking lot instead of the actual restaurant... would have just looked at us the name 4580 (Broadway). Had some surprises and a farewell. Mussels (4 : A beautiful departure from the usual heavier wine and tomato broths with sausage; the broth was on the lighter and sweeter side, adding the shells well. Would like to see how the dish comes with grilled bread so that the sauce is not wasted! Quinoa fritters (4 : Surprising good dish, very well seasoned and damp. If I were to be critical, I would say that the ball had a tendency to smash, and I would like to stay together, just a little better, maybe a little more like Falafel. J...

Excellent happy hour. The salad is consistently perfect (pic) and the burgers are the best in the city. Beautiful selection of wine, beer and cocktails. Great for a casual meal, but dressy enough for a date. There are hardly any college kids here. The staff is friendly, bartender attentive.

Everything's coming together. Founded on a reasonable collapsing of upscale kitchen and casual atmosphere, the experience is arranged to have this perfect balance of affordability and inventiveness. They beat the sweet spot. We're coming back!

Had an amazing Valentine dinner. Every dish was incredible! Favorite was the Asian Tuna Poke appetizer....so good!
