In the last weeks, my partner and I have used' The Odddfellows times! We didn't plan it that way but once we got the taste for it, we just keep coming back! The first time we went together we ate in. Everything was...spot on: food, drinks, service, presentation when the food arrived and prices are great value for the portions you get too. In view if the covid restrictions and measures they have had to put in place, like many other pubs, they are managing the new pub life' very well and I'm really glad they can. For our latest visits, we ordered take away food instead of eating there, and there is nothing in the take away' version that lets this establishment down. The food quality and taste...

We had planned to be camping in a caravan with friends near by but after an unfortunate incident with the caravan our plans changed at short notice . With two of us being fair weather campers no tents for us my...friend happened upon Odddfellows. What a fabulous find Mitch and Caroline could not have been better . of us ate there on Friday night all food fabulous, Mitch did magic tricks at the table , amazing . Mitch gave our friends the campers lifts to and from their campsite and picked us up from the campsite to bring us back to the hotel allowing us all to enjoy a drink or three . Stayed a couple of nights with my wife and son visiting family. The owners were very friendly and the staff were great. The rooms are very nice and clean and Mitch went the extra mile to make sure we had a lovely stay. The atmosphere...was great and the food was exceptional. Initially you may look at the menu and think it’s pricey…you’d be wrong. The amount of food and the quality of the food is outstanding. I’d highly recommend staying here as we will again. Even if you don’t need to stay go there for the food and Yorkshire atmosphere. Very highly recommended. Star.

we were here on a Sunday night quite an impromptu booking that knew nothing about the opposite. we arrived quite late because of the job obligations. the pub was busy, everyone was friendly withch and caroline were so inviting. the room in which we were was beautiful. very clean with everything we needed. we were too late to eat in the evening, but our breakfast was nice and nothing was angry. it was very convenient for our planned trip in york the next day. we will definitely be back as soon as we can be booked! We came here to visit the local wildlife park in the middle of Covid chaos where not much was open. They took our booking at quite late notice but the rooms were lovely and Mitch couldn't have done enough for us. Even though we were...one of the only families there he sorted out a lovely breakfast including a veggie one for us the next day and spent time talking to us. Restaurant was great inside and would definitely recommend! Thanks Mitch and Caroline from the Murphys

We've not been here since it was taken over by new owners but I'm glad we did. The Sunday lunch was genuinely one of the best I've had in a long time! The food was beautiful, huge portions and really good value. The staff were...good and everything looked clean and well sanitised. As we left a gent introduced himself (I believe he may have been the owner) and asked if we'd had enjoyed everything. Yes we did and we will definitely be back again! Highly recommended.

we recently considered a night in the opposite and could not have had better night in this beautiful pub. the whole staff was great. the locals were friendly. the food was excellent. beautiful decoration in pub. but above all the host. have made this very special. thanks caroline and mitch. we stay back when we are over x

wow! eating here is fantastic, all homemade and cooked to order. we went for some fish specialties that were so delicious! the host are brilliant and so inviting. they really made a dread of our little boy whose birthday it was and the whole pub sang. a really great fund and back on the way back to home! we were recently for a party and received a very warm welcome. the owners were charming and the accommodation very comfortable. I would strongly recommend it. I am like the princess and the pea and this bed was perfect.
