disappointing. a very small choice on the menu. On receiving the bill I queried an item SPLASH POSTMIX £2. It seems that the bottles of Diet Coke that they buy leave the glass 1 inch short so they top it up from a large bottle. I know that things are hard but to charge £2 for 1 inch of Coke is excessive and they can do without my custom in the future
The service at this restaurant was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The atmosphere was also fantastic, with a cozy and inviting vibe that made us feel right at home. Overall, a great dining experience that we would definitely recommend to others.
The staff at The Old Crown just get it. Friendly, efficient service, great food and a good balance between being a good food stop and a pub. We eat at The Old Crown for special occasions or when we want a really nice evening out. The food has been of a very high standard every visit. Had not been since before Covid. Had not lost any of its charm and ambiance. From the moment you walk through the door you are made to feel so welcome. No rush and yet the service was spot on. A good choice on the menu and the food was excellent. Already looking to book again
