I was very disappointed with The Old Fig Tree, the service was very slow, it took 50 minutes for 2 steak sandwiches and a blue cheese pasta. The steak sandwiches were very bland and the pasta was well below average. The steak sandwich and chips were very salty. This was my husbands birthday and was a real let down, probably the worst meal we have had this year.

We visited The Old Figtree this afternoon to find it closed up and the front under cover area pulled down! We were sad. Was the closure of this business a result of Covid closures/lockdowns? I wonder if it might re open?

Good ambience both inside (with a rustic look) and outside with a beautiful blend of natural and man made decorations. Food was great and the overall experience was boosted by the exceptional service provided by Rebecca.
