The Old Oak Holmer Green

The food and service is 5*, couldn’t fault it. Please do go and enjoy the food and service. Just wear many layers. I will certainly be back when the weather warms up. I wish I could give it a 5, but each time I’ve been here it is cold. Sitting on the upper level where the door is opened often by staff to go outside to get stock doesn’t help. The open fire is nice but doesn’t heat the upper level. It seems as though there just isn’t enough heating. I dress appropriately for being cold but your hands are very cold. A couple were in their coats eating their meal when we arrived. So it’s not just me or just on the day I was there.

We both had roasts lamb and beef. My husband asked that if there was a choice, he'd like his beef to be on the rarer side box ticked! I had the lamb which was delicious and was served with an extra pot of gravy which served both of us. The desserts were delicious and the service from our young waiter was impeccable which, of course, is a testament to the quality of their training and the attention to detail of the management. It was good to see the new management had redecorated and the menus were modern and simple. We'll be going again!

Had a meal here with family last month. Oh my goodness, where to start? Firstly it is COLD in there, you need to wrap up in multiple layers if you don’t want to freeze. Secondly, the lady who served us was so RUDE. I couldn’t believe how dismissive she was, patronising and arrogant. I didn’t get her name sadly but I’m sure you can work out who she is. Finally, the food was RAW. I had the fish and had to send it back. Not an apology given. Will NOT return.

We went to The Old Oak to try out the new menu. It did not disappoint. The staff were very attentive. The new menu is at present running along the existing menu. I tried the smoked mackerel for a starter and the pork belly for the mains. you can see from the pictures the presentation of all the dishes was excellent. We will be back to try more of the new menu soon. Well done Sam and his team keep the good work up. Réservez une table maintenant

Four Family members had lunch and drinks here on Wednesday 20th October 2021 at midday . The Food was the best we have had at any of the pub restaurants that we have been to. Fast service and I have got to say a big thankyou to the lovely girl that served us. Very pleasant and chatty. We will defiantly be going back. Thank you all so much.

Had Sunday lunch at The Old Oak yesterday. The food was excellent. Beautifully cooked, plenty of it and really well presented. Would have made 5 stars but the service wasn't great but they were busy. Overall, excellent and will be coming back thank you!

just ate the old oak and the food was brilliant as was the service , the pork belly was amazing and my wife had plenty of veggie options which she always was very happy with ,will return very soon

Manager is very rude to his staff. He keeps their tips and keeps them at the end of every shift. I though slavery days were over but obviously NOT!!!! Réservez une table maintenant

Have have 2 good meals in the last 7 days food was excellent but the pub on both occasions was so cold my wife and i had to keep our coats on.

The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and the outside seating provides a very nice setting.
