Popped in for an early improptu Saturday lunch. First through the doors and Olivia gave us free reign over tables, so we plumped for by the fire. Just intended to go for mains Supreme of Chicken with porcini mushroom and thyme sauce on a potato and onion rosti topped with spinach, tender and tasty, but I hd Sea Bream with samphire dill and prawn bisque amazing! Very disappointing, no roasts, cold food, mash processed Would not recommend After ordering 3 roasts then told only 1 that was cold Ordered haddock as no roast but runny sauce and processed mash Awful experience staff inexperience plus rude and not trained We will never return, it overpriced! We enjoyed the roast dinner, which was absolutely delicious! It came with a generous Yorkshire pudding, ample meat, and rich gravy. If I'm being honest, I would have preferred a bit more vegetables, although the ones we had were cooked to perfection. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, courteous, and helpful. This is a fantastic spot for a tasty Sunday lunch. Price per person: £10–20. We had a wonderful experience during our jubilee meal. The food was excellent in both texture and flavor, and the portions were generous. The wine selection was decent, and the smooth Malbec paired perfectly with the lasagna. The service was attentive yet not intrusive. frankly the best local pub that you could wish, amazing friendly staff all full of buzz and always smile, could not do more to make their stay more welcome. beautiful garden place with lots of space for her pooch to walk around. beautiful selection of drinks to satisfy every bud. the natives are also friendly, a wonderful friendly baptismal peeps. stop!

Lovely pub with great menu. Food has flair and creativity while being traditional. Come here for the Sunday roast and cauliflower cheese. Very attentive service. Historic location and cosy atmosphere. Price per person: £40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Roast Beef

This is the best local pub around! The food is amazing, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the crowd is fantastic! Expect to spend around £30–40 per person. Overall ratings: Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5. I highly recommend the Bubble and Squeak!
