What a lovely pub to stop off at after a long walk in the local area, really fresh beer from what tasted like clean lively pipes! The Wine choice is carefully selected also! the landlady and manager make you feel so welcome, kind enough to provide me with some lovely olives to accompany a juicy red wine! I was in heaven to say the least, next to a roaring fire what more can you want after a long dog walk that finishes just next to the pub! I cannot wait to go back! a truly delightful pub! We had the most amazing Sunday roast yesterday. Lamb and pork cooked perfectly. Incredible roast potatoes and gravy. Couldn’t tell you about the yorkshires as the children loved them so much I had to give them mine. I didn’t have room for pudding but the chocolate brownies and ice cream were a huge hit with the children. Finished off with a glass of red in a lovely friendly atmosphere with roaring fire. How wonderful to have such a warm, welcoming family friendly pub back. More than 5 *s if it were possible Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

It's great to see that the Old Swan is serving food again. I only went in with my dog for a pint of their delicious Bitburger, so I didn't try any of the food myself. However, everyone else seemed to be enjoying their meals. This pub is one of my favorites in the Chilterns, with beautiful walking trails nearby. It's very dog-friendly, and has a lovely big garden for when the weather is nice. One of my favorite things about this pub is sitting in front of the open fire on a cold winter's day.

Jane and Nick are great hosts serving good beers and an expanding menu Wonderful garden including a small football pitch Opening hours are expanding as well, I believe there open 6 days a week. The Old Swan is a very comfortable and welcoming pub located in the picturesque Chiltern countryside, complete with a spacious beer garden that is also dog-friendly. It is an ideal place to stop during a walk, with scenic trails nearby. The staff are kind and welcoming, and they may just serve the best Guinness you can find outside of Dublin.

We traveled 7 miles from Chesham to reach our destination, The Old Swan. We were unsure if it would be open on bank holiday Monday, but were pleasantly surprised to find that it was. We stopped in for drinks and crisps and were impressed by the great service.
