It's our third trip in three years to this lovely place, so we headed down to the golf club, as there's plenty of choice of bars and places to eat. The day had been overshadowed by the appalling thunderstorm and flooded parts of the region, but us brits are Hardy creatures. Called into the Old 9th hole bar to do a bit of people watching and trying to avoid further flooding, only a few in around six o clock due to the dark skies, but it was OK and pleasant views, just had a couple of drinks, all fine.
Sunday dinner excellent. We had the main and desert. My wife had pork and I had beef, both delicious, with proper roasties, cauliflower cheese, stuffing, Yorkshire pudding and a good selection of veg. My wife had bread and butter pudding for desert and I had apple crumble with custard and again delicious. Service was great, we were made to feel very welcome and all COVID regulations in place. Definitely will go again. Thank the 9th hole for a wonderful time
Fantastic family atmosphere… we have been coming here for many years, we find the staff really friendly and helpful and as a family we feel relaxed coming with children. Tonight my boys were given a free ice cream with was way beyond expectations. A favourite local bar.
Just enjoyed a fabulous Sunday lunch with friends. Great drink selection, fabulous wines, varied starters, mains and desserts. Everything great. Exceptnally friendly service. Don't forget to book as very popular Thank you all so much.

We visited last night, service was very good, the food choice was great, kids meals were good and inc ice cream and a drink, we shared a starters and then had the steak for 2, well cooked nice atmosphere. Thank you
Went for Sunday lunch today.. Absolutely excellent. 3 courses or just take 1 or two. I had Pate, roast beef with fresh veg cauliflower cheese to die for roastie potatoes and thick gravy. Still full up
