Firstly, the food is fantastic. No quibbles there, everything we had was perfect. However, for whatever reason the service was atrocious. We were booked for 8pm Saturday, and arrived on time. We ordered drinks and food at the same time, at around 8.10. We didn't...receive our starters until ten to nine, and our mains at 9.45! We had to chase up both, as well as missing drinks. Also didn't receive two side orders, despite asking twice. Didn't get appetiser breads, had to ask for oil when they did come, and received no plates! Whitebait starter was fine, no problem. 2 pizzas were ordered at our table. The waitress didn’t know which was the chicken and which was the mushroom pizza when she delivered them to our table. She the put the wrong pizza in front of each person....There was in fact little difference as the Chicken and Garlic Pizza was delivered to the table minus the chicken! The staff weren’t particularly interested or apologetic at all and almost didn’t accept there was no chicken on the pizza. visited here on Christmas. the starter should have scallops with garlic and lemon should have seas, my scallops never saw anything of these dingen! the truthahn was dry and tasteless, rosties were ok, the roasted vegetables promised frozen veg, definitely not roasted. 2 of the party...has steak who almost returned untouched as cutting too hard! desserts we had requested were not available. all in a terrible experience. not asked if the food is in order, if it was clear not by the amount of food that went back. we visited this place a few days ago and honestly wish that I had read the reviews before we left. brot in any case isnt Turkish brot ordered two netzens, which one saw over cooked, came without Bulgarian and the salat was unwashed my partner baked. a stone and almost broken his tooth. ordered chips for the small and the picture below is what is served to say, we paid about £75 for two nets and a starter some garlic bread and “chips” I will say dont harass and go elsewhere as this food is not where near the usual Turkish restraunts we go.
Dined here at lunchtime. Two of us had the set meal 2 courses £15.95 (I think I had meatballs for starters and chicken shish for main my friend had prawn cocktail and steak. Service was quick and friendly and the food was hot and...delicious. Masks on when up from your table and hand sanitiser on each table didn't seem strange it's become a way of life and one to be welcomed. Great value, huge variety on the menu and didn't feel rushed in the slightest. I'll be back very soon.
Had a delicious meal at The Olive Branch. Taken by friends who live locally and not we were not disappointed. Lots of choice including vegetarian options The staff were very friendly and efficient and one waiter in particular had a good sense of humour! Would...definitely go again if we are ever in the area.
Lovely restaurant. Clean and tidy. Family friendly. Imran looked after us really well- service with a smile. Food was delicious, would highly recommend. Chef came out to serve us baklava on the house which was a lovely gesture. Look forward to visiting again. Réservez une table maintenant
