Had to go to Dublin for a church service and wanted to find a place serving Lebanese food in Columbus area. chose Olive Tree and finally found a place in area that was like a trip back in time to my Mothers kitchen in Boston area. The family who ran the place were delightful and I was in heaven sampling a wide variety of foods. The kibbeh nayah(Middle Eastern lamb tartar) was amazing and I deboured 1/2 of it on my drive back to Dayton. THe meat grapeleaves were perfect and I loved the hummos and muhederah(lentils and rice). The lamb kabobs were a little fatty, but had a wonderful flavor. Any chance I get to go back to the area, I will make Olive Tree Cafe a definite priority. Lovely people,...
We went for lunch on Sunday. When we got there there was only one other table so a total of 5 people in the restaurant. No one else came in the entire hour+ we were there. We had to physically get up and ask the waitress to come take our order. Once we placed our order it took 40 minutes to come out. During that time we had to wave down the waitress (who was just standing at the counter) to refill our drinks. She didn’t check in at all otherwise. When the food came something had been left out, but we were glad just to have something. The food was delicious, but I would never eat here again, maybe I would consider take out.
Ordered pick up catering for 10. It was easy to reach out and do via email. Lara was very responsive and answered any questions. The food was delicious and fresh and everyone enjoyed. We had gyro bar, falafel, veggies and rice. The rice was delicious and remained moist. Pricing reasonable. This was second time doing this for a group. Great idea! Service: Takeaway
I had not been here in a few years and stopped in yesterday for lunch. It has a new owner since I was there. The food is out of this world good! The owner waited on us and was so kind and we chatted for a few minutes. It's so refreshing to dine in such a friendly restaurant. We will definitely be regular customers from now on! I love this restaurant, the food is so light and fresh. We had spanakopita for an appetizer. I had the Greek salad and my husband had lentil soup. We also had the chicken snitzel which had a great seasoning. The moussaka was delicious!! We all loved our food. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
