This Restaurant is very near the town centre with plenty of paid parking if you go on a Sunday the parking is confusing because after 4pm parking is free but when trying to pay the meters don’t say this it say parking restrictions after 4pm . The food we ordered both had roast beef was excellent plenty of beef cooked to perfection with fresh vegetables and homemade Yorkshire pudding my wife ordered a dessert coconut panacea which she thought was very good . The squid was extremely salty and had to be sent back. Both my husband and I found it to be overly salted. There were only about 4 or 5 pieces in the bowl. The waitress returned to our table to inform us that the chef had not added any salt to the squid at all. We were not charged for the dish, but being accused of lying put a damper on the evening. We dined with friends and none of us enjoyed the food, except for the tartar sauce. The peas were dry, the fish was overcooked, and the chips were as large as roast potatoes. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this restaurant.
I’ve visited the One Bull several times for drinks but had never eaten there before. My friend recommended it so we booked a table for supper with friends. I was so disappointed with the food. I sent mine back due to freshness issues and got an alternative replacement that wasn’t much better. I like the pub and was disappointed that the restaurant didn’t match up. The staff were pleasant and friendly.

The restaurant was clean, spacious, and exceptionally comfortable. The staff were pleasant, accommodating, and warm. The prices were reasonable compared to others in the area and overall, it was an experience I would like to have again, perhaps ordering more food next time.
Such a cosy pub restaurant. Haven't eaten there for quite a while but the food smelled good. It's best to book if you want to eat. Great ales and lagers. So cosy. The lighting is perfect. The seating areas are so comfortable. It's a lovely place to be
We had an exquisite meal with excellent friendly (and knowledgable input when it came to wine selection) service and additionally superb tasting beer from the restaurants own brewery. A wonderful gourmet evening and highly recommended.

Great food and atmosphere enjoyed by all. Special thanks to our wonderful waitress Luv who attended to all our needs and was an examplorary treasure who looked after our party really well. Can't wait to ve coming back very soon!
Melt in the mouth roast beef! Lovely Sunday roast dinner with red wine! Usually come here and do the set menu which never disappoints but decided to try the Sunday menu and so glad we did!
